This full unit is quite unique compared to our others, and definitely one of the top sellers that many people love. Less of a flowing, informational lesson and more of a diagram with little tidbits of information, the lessons are engaging (especially if you have kids that love facts). The writing project for this unit is focused on expository writing. Younger students will be writing a paragraph and going through the steps of brainstorming, rough draft, editing, and final presentations. Older students are learning the difference between an expository and persuasive essay, as well as focusing on different methods of formatting and citing their sources. Because we do encourage middle and high school to do research, this is a great unit to reinforce how to actually cite their sources, showing where they found that information. ⁠
